Me on Drive for This Recording: Worst of all, Drive doesn’t understand the art of driving, the necessary relationship that Americans have with their cars and the mythology of the open road.

PS. I think this film misses in a way that makes for fun discussion. So if you have a reply as to why it’s the best, fire back!

PPS. Drive as directed by Peter Yates would’ve had a central actor with something on his face (Bryan Cranston, maybe?), and, um, actual cool stunts. Bullitt and Robert Mitchum’s towering performance in The Friends of Eddie Coyle make this film look so shallow in comparison.
