Provincetown, Winter 2010. I would like to spend time in Provincetown in the off-season next year working on writing. Perhaps at the Norman Mailer Manse? (They have a program now, the Norman Mailer Writer’s Colony and hilariously enough, there are prominent names on the “executive board,” like Joan Didion and William Kennedy, and it notes: “the entire board knew him for over 30 years, even though they differed with him on various matters.”)
