A short summary of the year in review: I can say, without reservations, that I am a little bit happier this time this year than I was at this time last year. I’ve had to make a lot of choices, some of them really overwhelming, a lot I haven’t gone into in much detail here; and despite that difficulty, I have a lot of concrete work - 100,000 words plus - to show for it.
